The subterranean termite Reticulitermis flavipes (Kollar) is just about the many dangerous and widely distributed species in United States. This species has acclimatized to this kind of degree to southern Ontario that 27 municipalities record a point of infestation.

Termites were first claimed at Point Pelee in 1929 in Ontario. It has therefore been described in Toronto (1938), Windsor (1950), Kincardine (1954), Oxley (1955), Amherstburg and Dresden (1968) and Guelph (1975). Currently in Downtown Toronto, the region that is termite infested provides through a distance of around 30 kilometers.

As opposed to termites ants don’t consume wood – based supplies, but rather merely excavate living areas and hatching chambers which are generally not quite boundless in scope.
